Thorntown – Mrs. Angeline (Angie) Gaddis, 85, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in her home here at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The widow of Charles C. Gaddis, she lived here for 50 years. Born in Montgomery County, she lived at Darlington, Shannondale, Lebanon and Mooresville before moving here. She was married in 1899, and her husband died 20 years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are two sons, Chester C. of Thorntown and Jess of Flagstaff, Ariz; a daughter, Mrs. Florence LaFollette of Thorntown and brother, Charles E. LaFollette, of Shannondale.
